Montessori Reggio Academy of Sugar Land offers a comprehensive educational experience across three specialized campuses. Our PreSchool Campus offers programs for ages 3 months to 3 years, providing a nurturing Montessori and Reggio Emilia environment that supports early growth, language and independence. Our Cambridge Early Years Campus, tailored to children ages 3 to 6, blends our unique blend of the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches with the globally recognized Cambridge International Early Years curriculum, fostering creativity, inquiry, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Continuing the Cambridge Early Years journey and up to fifth grade, our Elementary Campus delivers a rigorous private school education grounded in bilingual immersion and a STEAM-focused curriculum, with a strong emphasis on mathematics, science, reading, leadership skills and language development. Students are empowered with advanced critical thinking abilities, effective communication skills, and a global outlook, preparing them to excel academically and lead with confidence and competence in a fast-paced, interconnected world.
Ages 3 Months To 3 Years
Students learn at their own pace, guided by our highly trained Montessori-Certified teachers to help them achieve their goals. Each classroom includes students of various ages, promoting independence, growth, and maturity. We encourage our students to ask questions, express their thoughts, and explore their ideas freely, building their confidence and abilities. They work both individually and in small groups, following a self-paced and self-led approach.
Our curriculum is designed to help your child reach all developmental milestones. Classroom materials are designed to be easily accessible, with child-sized furniture, cozy reading spaces, accessible sinks, and reachable bookshelves. Teachers act as facilitators, guiding students in maintaining organization and cleanliness, teaching them the importance of caring for materials and cleaning up after themselves.
Ages 3 Years To 6 Years
At our Cambridge Early Years Center, we provide young learners with a world-class foundation through the prestigious Cambridge Early Years program, the first of its kind in Texas. Designed by Cambridge University, this internationally respected curriculum nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning from the start. With a strong academic focus on early literacy, numeracy, science, and global understanding, our program equips children with the essential skills to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Blending structured learning with purposeful play, our approach supports whole-child development while preparing students to excel in advanced academic pathways. As pioneers in bringing this elite global standard to Texas, we are proud to offer families an exceptional start to their child’s educational journey.
Continued Cambridge Early Years Through Fifth Grade
Our curriculum is challenging, individually paced, and supportive. Students engage in learning as active members of a respectful classroom. With guidance from our dedicated Montessori-trained and certified teachers, they acquire essential life skills. We enrich our curriculum with STEAM, IXL, Yoga, Zumbini, and foreign language, along with monthly Reggio themes and activities. We monitor our students’ progress to ensure they meet milestones in math, language, cultural studies/social studies, and science.
Montessori Reggio Academy of Sugar Land also offers a language immersion program in Spanish along with Mandarin and sign language lessons, supported by research and proven results. Our students benefit from instruction by native-speaking teachers. Research shows that early exposure to a second language enhances cognitive flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and creativity, contributing significantly to overall cognitive development.
